Dampers

Shapeair volume control damper range have been designed to provide positive control of air flow within ventilation and air conditioning systems.

Constructed from high-quality aluminium extrusions and are suitable for flanged connection within a square and rectangular duct systems. Incorporated in the blade tip is a unique grooved pattern to ensure positive locking and minimal leakage.

Models:

• VCD-Q – with a quadrant arm and blade position indicator to balance on site
• VCDL-Q – low leakage providing a tight seal when closed with a quadrant arm
• VCDL-M – as above, but for motorised control
• VCDSR-M – smoke relief with a drive shaft to attach the motor and high-temperature blade seals
• VCDNRD – non-return damper where blades modulate automatically with increasing pressure
• VCDBD – barometric damper, as above fitted with springs or blade weights and ganged blades for site adjustment
