VAV Terminal Unit – Dynamically Acoustic

VAV Terminal Unit – Dynamically Acoustic

Shapeair TUD VAV terminal units are the new standard in VAV construction and offers precise airflow control for constant (CAV) or Variable (VAV ) HVAC Systems

Features & Benefits:

  • Thermal and acoustic integrity end to end
  • Shapeair-select software selection
  • Low profile construction maximum height 300mm
  • Air-on/air-off acoustic baffles
  • Minimised noise generation
  • Internally isolated low leakage air valve
  • Cross-flow multi-point sensor
  • Duct to duct 35mm TDF connection
  • Thermally rated for climate zones 1 to 8

These units are designed to control the air flow of conditioned air into an occupied space in response to a control signal from a thermostat or Building Management System (BMS). They can be used in stand alone systems or interfaced.

Shapeair TUD VAV terminals offer low-profile construction and an inline duct-to-duct connection with thermal integrity end to end as standard. They have been designed to control dynamically acoustic airflow. Each TUD terminal incorporates acoustic treatment baffles to both air-on and air-off aspects of the terminal. Each terminal isolates the control air valve deep with each terminal with an engineered acoustic barrier to suppress case radiated noise levels. Thermally compliant for condition spaces across Australia, climate zones 1 thru 8. TUD terminals are included in the Shapeair Select software program where you can generate full acoustic data sets and project scheduling.

Shapeair VAV terminal units can also incorporate control components, such as controller actuator and transformer, which can be factory fitted. Shapeair can factory fit and calibrate free issue controls using in-house testing facilities. Controllers allow the terminal units to regulate the flow rate as dictated by the thermostat or BMS and compensate instantly for any changes in supply air pressure that may alter the supply air volume.

Shapeair TUD VAV terminals can be configured for Constant CAV or Variable VAV airflow regulation.
